He enjoyed horse shows, golfing with his friends, deer hunting and time spent with his grandchildren. He was not a man of many words, but when he spoke, people listened. He was wise, steady, and strong, and he carried himself in a way that earned respect.

His life was marked by resilience. He was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease at a young age, yet he pushed forward and built a successful life and business. After being thrown from a horse and suffering a crushed hip, he was told he might never ride again, but he proved otherwise. When his barn burned and much of what he had built was destroyed, he rebuilt. Time and again, Danny faced hardship head-on and kept going. That was simply who he was.
