The Russell County High School Mighty Laker Band is gearing up for a festive evening of food, music, and community celebration with their upcoming Community Performance and Soup Dinner Fundraiser scheduled for Tuesday, November 3.
The event offers local supporters a chance to experience the band's 2026 production, themed "When Life Gives You Lemons...", right at home while helping raise funds for the program.
Event Schedule:
- 4:00 PM - Soup Dinner: Kicking off the evening, supporters can enjoy a comforting meal for just $5, which includes a bowl of warm soup, dessert, and drink.
- 5:15 PM - Victory Parade: The celebration moves outdoors onto Highway 127 as the band marches through in a spirited community parade.
- 6:30 PM - Band Performance & Senior Recognition: The main event features a full public run of their seasonal show under the lights, alongside special recognition for graduating senior band members.
Community members, alumni, and families are invited to come out, enjoy a hot bowl of soup, and support the Mighty Laker Band as they showcase months of hard work and dedication.
